Why is this so important?
Grief support is essential in allowing children to thrive and mature after the death of a loved one. Studies show that unresolved grief can lead to poor school performance, behavior problems, teen pregnancies, substance abuse, and mental and physical health problems. With the free services offered by Ted E. Bear Hollow, children and teens get support and are able to communicate and learn healthy coping skills.
